Our core business began in the water and wastewater treatment industry. We know first-hand how critically important it is to protect the equipment and materials that are typically under constant and severe attack from microbiologically induced corrosion (MIC), hydrogen sulfide gases converting to create sulfuric acid, wastewater chemistry impact, and abrasion.
Because of our experience with working in these types of environments, we have the knowledge, equipment, and dedication to handle concrete substrate repair and rehabilitation. With two fulltime NACE inspectors on our staff, we fully understand the importance of following procedures and adherence to the details to maintain the highest quality standards. This is critical to ensure that our workmanship and materials perform as designed.
The actual application methods of applying repair mortars, whether they are inorganic or organic modified, is only one step in the process. Removing substrate contamination, eliminating steel reinforcement attack, achieving adequate surface profile, achieving proper adhesion, achieving proper physical properties per the design, and proper curing techniques, are all critical factors in achieving the highest quality of workmanship. Recording and documenting the entire process is paramount in order to eliminate the opportunity for a “failure.”
